NBA 2K League Finals Obliterates Personal Twitch Records

Knicks Gaming swept Heat Check Gaming 2-0 in the first-ever NBA 2K League finals, completing a remarkable second-half turnaround that saw the Knicks qualify for the playoffs by way of the Ticket Tournament and then rampage through the playoffs as a No. 8 seed.

The Finals set records for the league on Twitch. According to TwitchTracker.com:

  • The League had a peak concurrent viewership number on Twitch of 61,813, more than doubling its previous peak concurrent viewership record.
  • It earned 903,551 unique views, its second-most ever (July 12)
  • It added 1,023 followers, its second most in a single day after May (July 12)

A pretty good day for the league.
